Congrats to the Mustangs for a 2nd place finish in the Red Bull Riders Cup at Upper Trestles on the 7th.
Our NSSA Nationals Team competed at Salt Creek last week in 2ft wind swell. Cooper Jones, Derrick Disney, JD Lewis, Zane Norman, Nick Rowe, Austin Rowe, Alexa Dilley, Alexa Thornton, and Josh Gandulla and turned out and did an amazing job competing against the top 12 schools around the country. By the second day of competition, Derrick, Alexa Thornton, and Josh all made it to the finals and put up some tough competition.
Congrats to our 2008-2009 Surf Team Captain Alexa Thornton for her 6th place finish, Derrick Disney finished 4th in Mens Shortboard, and the 2009 NSSA Mens Longboarding National Champion Josh Gandulla. Our team finished 3rd place overall, congrats and thanks for all of your dedication and hard work this year!
